From Code to Connection - How to communicate Technology’s Emotional Impact via brand communications

Overview
“People will forget what you said, and what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel” (Maya Angelou)
In today’s fast-paced, technology-first world, this famous quote reminds us that people’s decision making is rarely driven by ‘rational thought’ or by exclusively considering the features or technical details of our latest innovation - however impressive they are!
Research shows we are most likely to influence people’s purchase decisions and behaviour through a combination of the:
moods we induce in them (Happy shoppers spend more!)
emotions we invoke (and the associations these help create in their minds)
feelings we awaken (through the compelling stories we tell)
…And the memorable, positive experiences that our technology-led solutions deliver to positively impact their everyday lives.
Through this lens, every aspect of brand communications becomes a powerful opportunity to persuade people to buy into your product & service, both emotionally & commercially.
In this part masterclass session (and TBC - part Q&A / fireside chat) we’ll draw on insight and best practice from sectors as wide ranging as consumer goods to construction, as we explore some of the underlying psychological principles of effective brand communication and techniques we can employ to bring real emotion into our comms to make sure we get noticed and chosen by our target audiences, when it matters most.
So whether you’re starting out or scaling up, this session will give you practical insight to help you plan, design and ‘activate’ more effective communications that engage internal and external audiences - Building your brand with real value to drive growth.
