Removing barriers to digital adoption for regional SMEs- showing real impact

Overview
The session will look at how SMEs across multiple sectors and regions can take advantage of the skills and expertise at the Hartree National Centre for Digital Innovation (HNCDI) SME Hubs. The work carried out by the regional hubs enables small and medium-sized businesses to enhance productivity and gain a competitive advantage through the adoption of advanced digital technologies such as data analytics, visual computing and AI.
There will be an introduction to the Hartree National Centre for Digital Innovation and the Hartree Centre SME Hubs. We will outline what we do as a collaborative to support regional SMEs in the areas of Data Science and AI and types of assistance we offer within the programme, focussing on the positive impact this is having across organisations. This will be followed by three presentations from a business from each of the hubs (North East Hub, Northern Ireland Hub and Cardiff Hub). Each business will have a 15 minute slot. This would give a session length of 1 hour.
