Join Opencast at our Newcastle HQ for our special opening 2023 TechNExt festival fringe session. To kick off Opencast's TechNext fringe sessions, we're pleased to be welcoming to Opencast's Byker HQ one of the North East's most prominent tech figures – Chi Onwurah, Labour MP for Newcastle Central and Labour's front bench spokesperson on science, research and digital. Chi joins us for an informal breakfast followed by a fireside chat with Tom Lawson, Opencast's chief executive, about the challenges facing the North East, as well as her own background in technology.
