FESTIVAL FRINGE

The TechNExt festival fringe is a diverse and inclusive range of community designed and led events for everyone.

Through the festival fringe, TechNExt will support more than 30 events hosted by other organisations taking place across the North East throughout the festival week. Funding is available to support festival fringe events to organisations or individuals applying to host their own independent events. Once accepted, each event will be associated and scheduled with the wider festival programme and you’ll receive TechNExt branding assets to advertise your event. Organisations are being encouraged to host their own independent events and associate them with the festival programme.

Organisations are now able to submit applications for fringe events. Events can be of any size and any target audience, so long as they are free of charge and fit the festival theme of ‘technology, the future and us‘.

If you have an event idea but don’t yet know the exact details of who will speak, and where it will take place, that’s fine – TechNExt can offer support with finding a venue, speakers and advice on the best time and day to schedule your event. Equally, if you have a speaker who could speak at another event, or a venue space to offer up for free – let TechNExt know by completing the form.
